My Youshiko YC9387(W) 5in1 weather sensor stopped displaying temperature and humidity. I emailed Youshiko but they weren't able to provide a replacement part (poor design there as this item should be swappable given they only last a couple of years outside), so they offered a discount on a new weather station instead. At £70 i decided no thanks i'll repair it myself!
VCC GND SDA SCL
The bottom 4 wires of the main circuit board need desoldering. They are (in order as soldered):
Red = Vcc
White 1 = SCL
White 2 = SCA
White 3 = GND
I used a dremel to chop them off including the plastic mounting then glued the new sensor in its position
Simply solder your new wires from new sensor pins to the appropriate circuit board pads after feeding them through the hole in the upper plastic, place it inside the temperature sensor housing (i hot-glued mine) then screw it all back together. Turn it on, connect to the base unit and you should now have a temperature and humidity reading again!
